Week # 21

Talent Show

This week the kids presented the skills they had been learning for a few weeks. The kids made videos and also spoke about it briefly. As Zubair and Zoha didn’t have enough time, they just presented on the day. Zoha showed us some gymnastic tricks and Zubair showed us how to make an awesome paper plane.

Time management

We talked a bit about how to manage time and also how much time the kids are spending on their respective devices. I asked them to measure their weekly usage and report back next week.

Blogging

The kids have been posting their week recap for a couple of months and they have now gotten in the habit of doing that every week. Their writing has gotten better so now I am moving them to weekly topics instead. I want to focus on some creative writing and getting them to see the world from a different perspective. The first topic is “My life as an ant“.
