Summary: The City of Ember tells the story of Lina Mayfleet and Doon Harrow. Two teenage citizens of a city called Ember, which was established in 241 years after the war that occured. Lina and Doon uncover instructions left by the city’s original builders for escaping to the outside world. Which they are determined to follow despite multiple obstacles including lack of support from Ember’s government. 

Opinion: I really liked this book and would recommend you all to read it. it is really engaing and mysteriouse.
