My basketball game
On the 25 of March 2018, I woke up with excitement. I had my basketball match in werribee. I had to be at school by 8:30am. I quickly got ready and left for school. When I first got there my P.E teacher gave me and my teammates our uniforms.
Soon we left the school at 9:00am and reached there by 9:25am. (Just so you all know I went eagle stadium). We started practicing by doing layups, playing king and shooting. Are first match began at 10:00am. We sadly lost but won the next two rounds. After those three rounds we had a break for 1 hour so that we could eat and rest. If we won the fourth match we would go the finals and if we won the finals we would go to the grand finals. After a while our coach started picking people who had to go first on the court to play. He didn’t pick me because I was resting for the finals and grand finals because the team we were competing against was easy to beat. As I said we won and went to the finals. We also won the finals by 10 to 3. The grand final was next I was exhausted from running down the court. The game started we scored 4 in the start and 3 before the half time. We kept on running down the court. It was a tie with 20 seconds left. I got the ball, I dribbled down the court when the other team components came in front of me. I got discombobulated. I closed my eyes and threw the ball in the air. When I opened my eyes the basketball was in the hoop. I couldn’t believe it. We had won the grand finals and had reached the regionals.
The next day we had a party to celebrate our victory! It was a great time and I couldn’t wait for regionals.
