The house on Emerald street
Hi, my name is Max, I am 11 years old. I am about to share a really spooky story with you.
Yesterday it was Halloween and I was dressed as a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle. I was stepping out of the house to go trick or treating with my sister, May. The first house on Emerald street was Mr Flamington’s house. He gave us a handful of Mars and M&M’s each! The next house was Miss Merriwell’s house. She was called the Fruit Freak. She gave us fruit kabobs! I gave mine to my sister because she loves fruit kabobs.
We finally came to the third house. I was TERRIFIED. It looked soo scary. But my sister definitely wasn’t scared. She is 15 years old so that might explain why she wasn’t scared. But even 15-year-olds can be scared… right? The house was all crooked and broken. It was the oldest house on Emerald Street. My sister went up to the door and knocked. The door creaked open. We began to say “trick or tr-” but we noticed no one was the there!
It opened by itself. I saw a bat fly outside the door. I was soo scared. I’m pretty sure I heard someone screaming. That’s when I saw the scariest thing in my life.
To be continued…
