As you may all know about the tragic fires going around Australia. It started in June of 2019. it was a usual fire and overtime it grew. In October it started to get catastrophic.The wildfires were fueled by unusually hot weather and a potent drought that primed the region in October 2019, according to the space agency. With the dry plants that could have been the cause.

About 12.35 million acres of land have burned across Australia, according to the Associated Press. 30o people have died. More than 1 billion animals are said to have died in Australia’s bushfires so far this fire season.A worrying concern is if koalas are going to go extinct. Over one third of there population is gone. There are around 300,000 koalas left in the wild. Scientist say that hopefully they can help regrow the population.
